Meet Dr. Farhat Sayyed, a Dental Surgeon by profession from Maharashtra, India. She is passionate about cooking and serving great food. Photography has always been one of her favourite hobbies, she says food photography is the best way to deal with her professional and daily life stress. She captures the ‘yum’ factor’ of a dish through her mobile phone which proves that photography can be done with any device,only one has to have passion for photography and a sense of aesthetics.
She says “food photography tells a story from the backdrop and lighting to dishes and props. You capture food and make it like a feast for the eyes as well as stomach”.

As a food photographer, she likes to analyse what is specific about a particular dish that makes it unique, enticing and captivating; then photograph it in a way that showcases those elements.
