Work is at the root of a meaningful life, the path to individual independence, and a necessity for human survival and flourishing. It is also the distinctive means by which men concretize their identity as rational, goal-directed beings.” – Edward W. Younkins.
All people have to work for a living. I have always wondered what do people do for their livelihood. In my thinking as a photographer there couldn’t be anything better than photos which could satisfy my curiosity, so I decided to keep the theme “PEOPLE AT WORK” on PHOENIX PHOTOGRAPHY for the April month contest.
Mr. Narendu Ghosh AFIAP was appointed as the Honorable External Jury for the contest. We received massive response from the participants from all over India and abroad which made the decision a huge success. The championship was held on PHOENIX PHOTOGRAPHY Facebook group page which lasted from 1st April to 30th April 2023. Entire month was full of inspiring and not so inspiring photographs. Curated photographs by the Board of Directors were sent to the jury for final results.
