Perfect focusing is the key method for crisp and sharp photos. Camera should not shake. I would recommend a sturdy tripod and a remote shutter release button while shooting indoors.

Career in Photography is similar to pursuing carrier in any other art form in India. It will take time for anyone to grow and develop as a professional photo artist. Things of prime importance here are choosing your genre and developing your portfolio accordingly. There are lot many genres in photography like – people, travel, fashion, wedding, documentary etc. I pursue mainly people, travel and documentary photography.

I was not inspired by anyone to come into photography competitions. I started clicking photographs and like the art form so much that I fell in love with it and decided to pursue it as a profession.

Yes, I still remember my 1st click which was a photograph of my beloved mother who bought me that camera which was my first.

It’s very difficult for me to choose one amongst monochrome or colour. Both have their own uniqueness and impact. Some moments look lively and beautiful in colour as we know that different colours have different psychology. However there are some shots which only get meaning when shot in monochrome due to its tone.

Yes, there are many such photographs however amongst them there is one which is closest to my heart. The picture above was captured on the street of Pahalgam during snowfall. This was the first time I was witnessing snowfall which made it very special, moreover Kashmiri children playing in that snow fall and snow cutter vehicles removing snow and clearing the path was quite new to me. All these together made this photograph one of the best moment ever captured by me.

Just like other subject, before doing photography everyone should have proper theoretical and technical knowledge. In addition with that rigorous  practice is required. With this practice one can create sense of vision, visualisation and strong intuition power. As a result one can develop himself as a matured photo artist.
